Missing You Mouse....

So lately I have been going through my boxes and boxes of cards that I have made and gotten from swaps over the years to try to use them up when I came across this one.  OMG!!!  This is one of the cards I made when I first started stamping!  I could not believe I still have it.  I have gotten rid of the set (which I am sad about) so with out going thru the old catalogs I can't remember the name of the set.  I do know the "missing you" is not an SU stamp.  This is definitely a KISS (keep it short and simple) card!

Celebration Candles

Who doesn't love birthday cakes?  Made this up for Therapy Card Nite's birthday card.  Love the candles from Cycle Celebration along with "it's time for a celebration" from Make a Wish.  Think this came out pretty good.  Used the glitter glue for the flames to give it a little sparkle!

St Louis Regional CASE

So here you see 2 different versions of the same card.  The top one is the one we did for the St Louis Regional that I went to in March.  The bottom one is my rendition of the same card with a little change for Therapy Card Nite that I did.  The girls really seemed to like the masking technique that we used with this card.  I think I will need to remember to play around with it more often!

Wheely Sweet Friend

This was one of June's cards for card nite!  It uses on of the new sets in the catalog that I am really liking!!!  This is from the set Cycle Celebration and also uses the punches Build a Cupcake and 1 1/2" circle punch.  Just loved how it came out!

Happy 4th!!!

These two cards are similar ones I have done in the past.  The "Uncle Sam" one is adapted from Jamie Hurley years ago.  I just used our bigger punches to make the card this time and stepped it up a bit with some blue staples that I acquired a while back.

This is one that I've done, but this time I texturized the back ground and used a piece of the blue from our Polka Dot Parade DSP!!!  These two cards were simple non-stamping cards to show different ways to use our supplies.

My Suit and Tie

This card was a CASE from when I went to St Louis Regionals.  I love, love, love this card!!!  I am so sorry that I do not know who the original maker of this card is.  I did alter it in the fact that I used the bow tie from Dapper Dad instead of making my own.

The Putt

It was a guys themed month for May.  So I tried to do a bit of everything to please each kind of guy out there.  This is my version of "The Putt".  With all the golfing going on and think this fits right in!

Happy Father's Day Dapper Dad

Wow!  So I am way behind on having my blog up to date....have tons of pics to show so I should be good for a while now...lol!

This is one that we did for May's card nite.  That ended up finishing in June due to the bad storms we had here in the Midwest!!!  Lots of trees downed and power outages on my side of town.  About 6 blocks over from me was the hardest hit area!  And for those that know me, yes, I was on my porch the whole time we had those winds; which I found out later had gusted up to 80 mph!!!  Thank goodness we only lost the little flowering tree on the side of the house along with power for a few hours.

I really liked the Dapper Dad set that was in the Occasional Mini and was hoping that this set would of made it in, but it didn't...  Kept this card in the brown tones all the way around.  And in case you are wondering, no, it is not a SU button.  It's one from the bucket I received from my grandmother before she moved away that she had from when she worked at the button factory as a young lady.

SU Regional Notebook

Gotta say again how much I love this Clockworks stamp set!!!  The third project we made at Regionals was this super cute notebook!   Loved the embossing detail on the main cover done with our Simply Scored Scoring Tool...it just gives it that right look.  Along with the scoring of the Calypso Coral stamped image (that I wish you could actually see).  This is topped off with some of our Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons....Do I forsee another Stamp Camp in the future???

SU Regional Card Box

So here is another fun project we did for our St. Louis Regional...I really love this card box holder.  It is made out of our 2 Tags Die (can we say item on my next order!) along with some punches (that I substituted with a similar one since I did not have the one they called for; also on my next order).  We also made 3x3 cards to go inside with the Clockworks and One in a Million stamp set.  Oh and the Dahlia, the little green center of the flower, is also on my next order.  I thought they were bigger than what they are and come to find out, I love them!!!

So if you enjoy this little set, keep your eyes open for the upcoming Stamp Camp this summer where we will be making a similar project...  I will be sharing details at Therapy Card Nite.  Hope to see your there!!!

Keep Calm April Fools...

This is an April Fools card that we did for Therapy Card Nite...I came across this new technique of a layered card that I really liked, but had not used yet.  I finally figured out a way to use it in "funny" kind of way; an april fools card.   Not to say that I won't use it in another way down the road.

I used it with one of our hostess sets that can be earned this year:"Carry On".  If you are interested in this set you can still earn it by hosting a workshop...just let me know if you would like to share a girls night with your friends.

2013 Easter Cards

I have seen a few "Bunny Hole" cards and decided to make one of my own for my No Foolin' It's Easter Therapy Card Nite month.  Thought this was a pretty neat idea making me think of Alice in Wonderland, one of my favorite Disney movies.  I used soft colors with some ribbon to finish it off.

Easter Duck
This is a duck rendition on the Easter Chick I made for Therapy Card Nite last year.  I so loved this card I had to make it again with a slight change.  Love all the ideas that you can do with all our Big Shot dies.  Really love the scallop die and all the "fun" things you can do with it!!!

Matchbook Easter Bunny

It's been a while since I made a matchbook card and what better way to showcase one than with a chocolate bunny in the grass.  I have quite a few new girls so this was something new for most of them.  I really liked this bunny and had used it last year and just had to bring it back for this year.

I really hope you all have a great Easter and enjoy your family and don't forget the real reason for this wonderful season!!!

St Louis Regional Thanks card

Spent the weekend in St Louis so that I could attend a regional on Saturday.  It was my first SU event since the 20th Convention in Salt Lake City!  Just to give you a time line for those who do not know, this is Stampin' Up!'s 25th year celebration!!!  Boy, I have really missed coming to these events.  Not only do I get a lot of great ideas, but just being together with hundreds of other demos who share the same passion is amazing!  Not only that, but I was chosen to be a helper for this years event!!!  What an honor!!!

So this is one of the super cute projects that we made.  Love that, not only is it masculine, but it has one of my favorite accessories ~ a matching envelope!!!  Never send a naked envelope, give the mail carrier something special to enjoy also....  Really liked that we used a sponging technique that I have been doing at my card nites, but in a different way.  Nice to see I am on the right path with showing it, now I have a new way to share it with the girls!  Not only the technique, but also the banner look...

Be watching this week as I share more convention projects...

Stippled Blossom Birthday

Made this during Therapy Card Nite.  Really love that there was Twitterpated DSP that matched with the set.  I also used the Labels Collection Framelits with some some rhinestones to help dress it up a bit.  Finished it off with the Happiest Birthday from Apothecary Art and a touch of the white gel pen.

Antiqued Shoe

I really like this shoe from the Fabulous You set!  My cousin, Heather, has a lovely shoe fettish that I was able to help with!  :-)     I bought this awsome pair of zebra print 4" red heeled shoes that she loved so I took down a pair to her.  Told her that I also had another pair in the same style but lepard print and with a brown heel.  So when I got home I sent her a pair of those too!  That is why this shoe is sooo perfect for her.  I dressed it up with the Flower Trim and a safty pin on the distressed shoe image.  I also embossed the shoe with the cherry cobbler embossing powder to really make it stand out.

I (heart) U

Saw a similar card on a site and made some changes to make it more my own.  YES!  That is some "dry wall" tape, does anyone else remember SU selling this?  I have a roll of it I dug out and used to help make this card.   I also used the Red Glitter paper for the heart that I feel helped it stand out and Notable Alphabet for the I and U.

Shiny Heart Valentines Day

Alright, I know you see how shiny the middle heart is, well it is really suppose to be all 3 hearts! My poor punch just didn't want to punch thru any more of the stiffer plastic that was used to wrap around Christmas pajamas that I got from Kohl's!  Which made me finally break down and buy the Hearts Collection Framelits for the next time I want to recycle stiffer material...lol    I did it this way for this last card that I made up after Therapy Card Nite.  I choose this color combination of Tempting Turquiose, Real Red and Melon Mambo with touches of White.

9 YEARS!!!

I can hardly believe that I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 9 years now!!!  I have been thru many ups and downs in the past years, but here I am...  Right now I am mainly a hobby demo although I have tried to make a go of it as a business demo.  This year I am wanting to give it one more try to make this more of a little business than just a hobby as I am working to make it to Convention next year as a 10 year demo!!!  That is my overall big goal...now to work on the little goals to get there...........One of those goals will be to make more time to play with my stamps and to post more on my blog and to keep it up.  So if you happen to stop by here I'd really appreciate any comments to let me know you checked me out!!!!!!!!

So stop by every now and then to see what I've been up to and where I'm at in my goal for the coming year...

Sweet Friend

Really loving the You Are Loved set...lol!  Loved how this card just seemed to come together.  I crinkled the edge of the Sweet Friend banner and put the dimensionals under the heart.  My favorite part though has to be the Scalloped Tulle Ribbon that I scrunched along bottom half of the card.

Owl Love

Can hardly believe that it is 2013!!!  Time has surely been flying by...  Anyway, just finished up with the first Therapy Card Nite of the new year.   I came across a similar card ( I just love to C A S E and make it my own) and changed out a few things.  I also added the sentiment which I embossed.  Lot of the girls really enjoyed this card with the owls....
