Simply Enjoy

Sorry it's been over a week, but I've been busy with Card Nite and getting ready to sign up for and arrange travel for Stampin' Up!'s 20 Year Convention. I just happened to think about posting and when I showed up I saw that it has been over a week and I apologize.
This is a simple one layer card that we did for Card Nite in April.

stamps: Enjoy Every Moment
ink: Bashful Blue wheel cartridge, Apricot Appeal, Pixie Pink
paper: white
accessories: Daisy Dash Wheel

Enjoy every moment.

Hello girls. Hope this week is finding you well. So who is ready for spring? I know that I am. I am ready for warmer weather. It is suppose to be pretty nice today, but very windy. Well, here is my creation from last night. Hope you like it. I made 2 versions.

This one is actually my second version. I thought the blue layer helped the green "enjoy" stand out more.

stamps: Enjoy Every Moment, Daisy Dash jumbo wheel
ink: Appricot Appeal, Gable Green, Pixie Pink, Bashful Blue
paper: Appricot Appeal, Bashful Blue, White
accessories: lt. blue gingham ribbon, sponge

Here is my original. I felt that the "enjoy" just faded into the background too much with the green layer.

stamps: Enjoy Every Moment, Dasiy Dash jumbo wheel

inks: Appricot Appeal, Gable Green, Pixie Pink, Bashful Blue

papers: Appricot Appeal, Gable Green, White

accessories: lt. blue gingham ribbon, sponge

Polished Stone Technique

Today I will show you how to do the Polished Stone Technique.

These are the supplies you will need to do this technique.

stamp set: Embrace Life

ink pads: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black

paper: Tempting Turquoise, Regal Rose, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery, Glossy White

accessories: rubbing alcohol, cotton balls, reinkers, CAD(crop-a-dile), silver eyelets

First, wet the cotton ball with rubbing alcohol, add a few drops of different colored reinkers, & then pat over your glossy cardstock. Pat until you get a look you are happy with.

Allow to dry. Then stamp with your chosen image in basic black.

Layer and arrange your card they way you like. Add a sentiment. (optional)

I also added 3 silver eyelets to set off my sentiment. Embellish however you like. Now you try.
