Snowflake Birthday Wishes

Well who says you could go wrong with a snowflake birthday card?  Unless of course you are up north and getting 2-4 inches of snow a couple times a week!!!  So to go along with all our snow here is a snow birthday card...(of course by the time this posts all the snow will hopefully be gone)
This card uses a snowflake from Festive Flurry layered on Winter Frost DSP, cut out with the Coluzzle of course!  I used the Silver ribbon from the Holiday Mini and a retired stamp from Heard from the Heart.

Valentine Cards...

Here are the Valentine cards that we did this year for Therapy Card Nite...

This first one uses some of the plastic wrapping for the pajama sets from work to make heart balloons.  I used the Hearts Framelits to get the outline and had to use scissors to cut the rest of the way through, but it was so worth it!   I used Dimensionals to pop the hearts out a bit and Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine.  Love how theses hearts look!!!  Then I used a strip of Gingham Garden Washi Tape behind the "when I think of you" stamp from the set Love You to the Moon.

Loving this card ALOT....  Stamped "Love you...to the moon and back" in Real Red and Black markers on So Saffron CS then cut it out using my coluzzle.  Remember that toy?  Still have mine and use it quite a bit!!!  Next I stamped the "xo heart arrow" with Versa Mark and used the Cherry Cobbler embossing powder for the background.  I used Dimensionals to pop the moon up off card for a bit of a WOW effect.

Finally this "Love You" banner card made with the SAB Banner Blast set and Banner Punch!!!   I used Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, and So Saffron for my colors along with Twine and Silver Brads.  Oh let's not forget the WOW factor of this card with the Tempting Turquoise embossed "Love You" along with the bottom punched out with Scalloped Trim Border.  Who says you can ever have enough stamping toys?

Boxed Love Valentine's

Here is the Boxed Love Valentine's Stamp Camp I did.  We did the Milk Carton from the SU Catalog and filled it with Red Velvet M&M's.  Next we did the Fancy Favor's Box and used the Red Glitter Paper, For the Love of Chocolate stamp set and filled it with Dark Chocolate & Strawberry Milky Ways.   Lastly we made a Boxed Card and used the Epic Day This and That designer series paper and lets not forget the envelope (not pictured) that we made with the Envelope Board.  We had lots of fun making these...

Get Well Pink and Black...

Here are a couple of  "Get Well" cards I made with the homemade bandaid look I've come across.  I remember these being made a while back and never took the time to make one.  Until now...I've had 2 friends fall ill in the past couple of weeks so I decided to send them a small smile, letting them know that someone is thinking of them.  Plan on making similar ones for Therapy Card Nite soon.

Chalked Fall Leaves...

This is a throw back card if there ever was one!  This layout came from one of the first swaps I was in back when I first started stamping.  I've kept quite a few of them over the (ahem...) 10 years I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  Notice I said demonstrator, I've been stamping cards for 12 years now!!!  Hard to believe, I know.  I used pretty much the same things other than the stamps of course and I used the chalks to color in the leaves.  I really liked this card and I sit and wonder what took me so long to CASE it....

Are you ready for some football....

Here is a quick spinner football card I made to celebrate the 2014 Superbowl.  Although I will be basking in sunny Florida instead of the bone chilling Iowa, I will be looking forward to the game.  And what a great game it is going to be!  Bronco's or Seahawks....Would love the Bronco's to win for Payton Manning, but would like to see the Seahawks make a Superbowl win!!!  I am divided....

Preston's 13!!!

My nephew Preston is turning 13 today!  I can remember the day he was born and it's hard to believe he's already this old!!!   He has become a great young man who loves sports, especially wrestling.  He has made districts, state, and to nationals.  In fact he is off at a meet today...   He wants to go to Iowa State to wrestle as of now.  So I did his card up in Iowa State colors with a bit of a grunge look to it.  Although the background stamps are current, I did use some older number sets to make the 13.  Here's to hoping he has a great day!!!
