April's demo challenge

Alright girls, I was busy over the weekend working on a few cards for the April demo challenge and this is what I came up with. The first one I really like, but the second one, I'm not so sure. I still entered it cause who knows, someone might like it.

This one is "Hoppy for You!". As I looked at my layout and colors I started going through my sets and came across Unfrogettable and just knew what I was going to do. I think this card came out pretty cute.

Stamps: Unfrogettable

Ink: Basic Black, Certainly Celery marker, Apricot Appeal marker, Regal Rose marker

Paper: Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, White

Accessories: 1/16 circle punch, Linen Thread

This one I am not too happy with. I don't know why yet. The only thing I like about this card is the glitter that you can hardly see in the picture.

Stamps: Polka Dots & Paisley

Ink: Versa Mark, Old Olive, Rose Red marker, Cameo Coral marker

Accessories: CAD, silver eyelets, dazzling diamonds glitter, heat tool

Let me know what you think this card needs.

LATE!! Easter basket & gift

I am sorry I did not get these posted earlier. This holiday weekend just really got away from me. These were my hostess gifts and Card Nite gifts over the past few weeks. The basket is a CASE from a friend of mine and the box I created by converting the basket.

This is the basket I CASE'd from my friend Jamie. I just love the little pom pom bunny tail!

Stamps: A Good Egg

Ink: Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip

Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: 1 1/4" circle punch, small oval punch, light pink grosgrain, small pom pom

This box is one of the first I learned to make as a demo. I used it quite a bit when I first started and I haven't made one in a long time. I thought the concept of the basket would look cute on this box. I am happy with how it turned out.

Stamps: A Good Egg

Inks: Close to Cocoa

Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: 1 1/4" circle punch, small oval punch, light pink organdy ribbon, small pom pom

Hope you all had a very nice Easter.

3 Leaf Clover

With St. Patrick's day right around the corner I thought I'd share an easy 3 Leaf Clover card. I used the shaving cream technique with gable green reinker for the background. Love this unique one of a kind look. Next I took Glorious Green and punched it with our Scallop Circle punch. Cut it in half. Take one of the halves and cut 3 "hearts". You also want to cut a stem for your clover from the Glorious Green. Next I cut out a 1"x 2" piece of white and stamped "Good Luck" from our Sincere Salutations set and layered it on a piece of 1 1/8"x 2 1/8" of Glorious Green. Finally I put it all together and here it is. Don't forget to wear your green on Monday!
