Top Note U

Finally, I get to sit and just play with my Big Shot! For fun even!!! And not to get ready for Card Nite or a workshop. After browsing through some sites I came across a sketch on Jenn Balcer's that I decided to try out. So playing with ideas in my head this is what I finally ended up with. Thoughts don't always work out on paper, but this is pretty close.

Quick & Easy St. Patty's Day

Here are some quick and easy St. Patty's Day cards I did for my co-workers at the theater. They have been enjoying the cards I make them. I saw this idea on splitcoast last year done using the scallop circle punch cut down to make hearts and put together to make shamrocks. Cute and simple. Have a Happy St. Patricks Day!!!

Recycled dryer sheets!

I did a "Going Green" card nite and this is one that I did that that was not "green" in color, but was "green" because of recycling. The girls all liked this idea. I just saved my used dryer sheets (plus a few extras from Jamie -thanks again by the way!) to wrap around the stamped image as shown here. I love the soft feel it gives to the card. Hope you enjoy!

Lego Land

Alrighty girls, here is a double page layout I worked on last weekend for our Florida trip we took last year. I know what some of you are saying, but I'm odd in some of the ways I scrap. Themed albums I do in order, life in general is done by how I'm feeling at the time (I have a TON of life pics as I'm sure you all do). As soon as this album is done I can get to work on my SU Convention album! My oldest has 3 going on 4 scrapbooks and my youngest has 2 going on 3 and that is just their life scrapbooks. I have 7 themed books that are done and 5 others of ALL family/friends that are on going. I guess in a way that it is good that I have Scrap Time every month. The past 2 months I've held it both Friday & Saturday! Got quite a few pages done! These ones here are done with just Stampin' Up! although the stamps are retired I still like to use them often. My son Quintin loves to create with legos and so he got the biggest kick out of seeing LIFE SIZED replicas of different lego creations. Along with the STAR WARS & PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN creations. It was quite amazing to see. Could you imagine the time put into creating these?

Still here.....

Hey all you girls out there,

Please don't take me off your blog lists just yet. I have not forgotten you. In fact I have quite a few cards done and I just haven't had a chance to take the pics and upload them. Life sometimes takes over and you have no control over situations as I am sure you have all encountered. And after yesterday I am glad that I hadn't gotten them uploaded on my computer as it crashed yesterday and it looks like I've lost everything. As soon as I get my computer fixed I will be uploading on here once again. For now I am going to be checking in over here at my sisters house. I have been trying to check out your blogs as I've had the chance. Here is hoping to be back on soon in my own home!
