Happy 4th!!!

These two cards are similar ones I have done in the past.  The "Uncle Sam" one is adapted from Jamie Hurley years ago.  I just used our bigger punches to make the card this time and stepped it up a bit with some blue staples that I acquired a while back.

This is one that I've done, but this time I texturized the back ground and used a piece of the blue from our Polka Dot Parade DSP!!!  These two cards were simple non-stamping cards to show different ways to use our supplies.

My Suit and Tie

This card was a CASE from when I went to St Louis Regionals.  I love, love, love this card!!!  I am so sorry that I do not know who the original maker of this card is.  I did alter it in the fact that I used the bow tie from Dapper Dad instead of making my own.

The Putt

It was a guys themed month for May.  So I tried to do a bit of everything to please each kind of guy out there.  This is my version of "The Putt".  With all the golfing going on and think this fits right in!

Happy Father's Day Dapper Dad

Wow!  So I am way behind on having my blog up to date....have tons of pics to show so I should be good for a while now...lol!

This is one that we did for May's card nite.  That ended up finishing in June due to the bad storms we had here in the Midwest!!!  Lots of trees downed and power outages on my side of town.  About 6 blocks over from me was the hardest hit area!  And for those that know me, yes, I was on my porch the whole time we had those winds; which I found out later had gusted up to 80 mph!!!  Thank goodness we only lost the little flowering tree on the side of the house along with power for a few hours.

I really liked the Dapper Dad set that was in the Occasional Mini and was hoping that this set would of made it in, but it didn't...  Kept this card in the brown tones all the way around.  And in case you are wondering, no, it is not a SU button.  It's one from the bucket I received from my grandmother before she moved away that she had from when she worked at the button factory as a young lady.

SU Regional Notebook

Gotta say again how much I love this Clockworks stamp set!!!  The third project we made at Regionals was this super cute notebook!   Loved the embossing detail on the main cover done with our Simply Scored Scoring Tool...it just gives it that right look.  Along with the scoring of the Calypso Coral stamped image (that I wish you could actually see).  This is topped off with some of our Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons....Do I forsee another Stamp Camp in the future???

SU Regional Card Box

So here is another fun project we did for our St. Louis Regional...I really love this card box holder.  It is made out of our 2 Tags Die (can we say item on my next order!) along with some punches (that I substituted with a similar one since I did not have the one they called for; also on my next order).  We also made 3x3 cards to go inside with the Clockworks and One in a Million stamp set.  Oh and the Dahlia, the little green center of the flower, is also on my next order.  I thought they were bigger than what they are and come to find out, I love them!!!

So if you enjoy this little set, keep your eyes open for the upcoming Stamp Camp this summer where we will be making a similar project...  I will be sharing details at Therapy Card Nite.  Hope to see your there!!!

Keep Calm April Fools...

This is an April Fools card that we did for Therapy Card Nite...I came across this new technique of a layered card that I really liked, but had not used yet.  I finally figured out a way to use it in "funny" kind of way; an april fools card.   Not to say that I won't use it in another way down the road.

I used it with one of our hostess sets that can be earned this year:"Carry On".  If you are interested in this set you can still earn it by hosting a workshop...just let me know if you would like to share a girls night with your friends.
