I've had this card done for awhile now. Even entered it into Papercrafts World CardMaking Day contest. No, I didn't win. :( Oh well.... Anyway, got a peek at the new Christmas decor for Kohl's this year and made the card from that during my time off from surgery complications. So next time you go to Kohl's, look up and you will see my inspiration...

HO, HO, HO mustache...
Alright I admit as much as I liked the mustache stamp, I did wait to the very last minute to break down and buy it. I still used it anyway because I liked this idea for a cute off the wall Christmas card. I have been trying to incorporate atleast one Christmas card into every Therapy Card Nite and this is the "guy" Christmas card that I ended up with. Once again I put those poptabs to use!!!

Happy Birthday Owl
This inspiration for this card came from one of my Secret Sisters. Thought it was so cute I just had to use it! Just switched out a few things like the woodgrain stamp for the woodgrain embossing folder and the DSP along with the ribbon. Funny story, when you have a card night/stamp camp, note if family come and be sure that you don't send the same family member the same card! My sister and I sent the same card to our Uncle for his birthday!!! I sent this one because he likes birds and thought this would fit him, she sent it cause it was the only masculine b-day card she had left!!!

Most tools....
Once again, I seen a similar card to this and just added my own bit of flare to it. (I really need to start writing names down, I just never know what I'll use till I end up making cards and going off the top of my head of some that I saw that I liked) Anyway, this was a quick and simple card that once again uses some of those poptabs that I collect. This is just a quick and simple card card that you could send to any guy for any occasion...

Sawed...
I saw this wood fencing technique and just had to try it out!!! It was so easy and fun to do!!! Not sure what inspired the bench with the hanging saw to go with it, but figured it went well with the card. Again, another card for my Therapy Card Nite...

Hole in One Success
This card I did case main image, but added a few things of my own. Not a big golf fan, but know that there are those who are or know of some. Had a "Guys at Work" Therapy Card Nite theme last month and this fit the bill. The girls loved this card and had fun making it. Had a girl that couldn't make it at the last minute so I did her cards for her and was so busy talking that I ended up taping the flag with the wrong print up. It ended up being a good laugh for everyone...

Circle Punch Christmas Tree
I came up with this card after seeing one made with ribbon stripes. I just decided to use one of the button stamps and circle punches to come up with a similar effect. I also used some red glitter paper on the circles for some extra bling!!!

Pop-Up Inspire Card
I almost forgot about this super cool technique!!! Went searching thru my book of techniques that I have done over the years and came across the pop-up card and just knew that I had to make this for my secert sister as her reveal card. I love how easy and fun this card is to make.

Poinsetta Doily Card
I saw this card on splitcoaststampers and don't remember who made it originally, but I loved it so I made one and shared with my Therapy Card Nite class. They loved it, but the doily was a bit much still I think. Took a while to poke all the pieces out, but they got it done. Still looking for a better way to cut this out to get most of the pieces out. I started to do one Christmas card with every Therapy Card Nite so we can build up for Christmas.

U R THE BOMB
Saw a similar card in a crafting magazine and just had to put my hand to it. Used the stamps I had and made a popcycle template and did this for one of my Therapy Card Nites. The girls loved it!!!

Blue embossed dasies...
So sorry to see this set go away with this past catalog. But this bold stamp is good for embossing with, especially with a colored embossing powder!!! Add a quick sentiment and wala super card for any occasion.

Shoe for Heather
This is the card I sent down to my cousin with a pair of FABULOUS shoes that she adored!!! I took a pair of zebra striped ones down with me when I went down for vacation this summer and she loved them so much I sent down the leopard print ones just like them. She has a shoe fettish way bigger than mine and so this card is right up her alley!!!

Dryer Sheet Flower Card
Seen this technique a while back and finally tried my hand at it. Of course I did not have the circle dies at the time so it was a bit more tedious. Finally got the dies so now I need to try it with them. Hopefully it will cut them out way easier. Anyway, I really like this look with the dyed dryer sheets. Really wish the color of this card came out better. It's done with Old Olive as the base. Hope you enjoy!!!

Three Little Words...case
I CASE'd this from my Big Sis (a few of them ago and I'm not sure which one). I changed out the paper and added a pop tab as a ribbon slider. (I collect the colored pop tabs for this reason.) Love the texture from the embossing folders along with the edge punch.

Good Luck
So, it has been a while since I last posted...I have a lot to catch up on. As I was going through pictures of Quintin to download so I can work on his scrapbook I found cards that I haven't uploaded here yet so here goes...
This is a card we did for St Patrick's day back in March!!! I used the heart punch with dsp and a brad from the SAB.

Owly Graduate...
OK, so as I am looking at Frenchie,s blog again, I came across a bag topper she did for graduation and loved it so much I made it into a card!!! This is such a cute idea and my TCN girls incorporated their own twist to it! I taped the owl head together and stamped my saying inside, but the girls left the head untaped and stamped inside the head! How clever is that!!! Easy to make this for any school colors as all that is needed is to change out 2 layers of the eyes and the cap.... For the tassel all I did was get a wide satin ribbon tied it with the hemp and then cut strips in it...how cute and fun is this!!!

Easter Smiles
Here is the 2 page layout I did for my Therapy Scrap Nite in April. I took the concept of one of the cards we did at last months Therapy Card Nite and incorporated it into this layout. I really liked how it turned out, from the textured bunny to the cut grass and the die cut letters... Got to say there is nothing like the big shot to really put an easy WOW into something!!!

Mothers Day 2012
Mother's Day was a bit of an up and down rollercoaster for us due to the 1 month anniversary of my MIL passing and another death in the family. So I am behind in posting, again. Here are the 3 Mother's Day cards I made and gave out...
This one is a bit of a CASE card. I came across this as a swap from a while back and as I did not have the same stamps or dsp I used what I had and ended up with something very similar. This is the first time I ever made these flowers and I love them!!! Hoping to do a similar card next for Therapy Card Nite soon.
This one I just love! Same basic concept as an earlier card I've posted, but for Mother's Day. Loved how the Basic Gray and Blushing Bride looks together, although this picture does not do it justice! Girls at TCN seemed to like it alot too!
Can hardly believe this stamp set is going into retirement!!! I really liked the little sayings it had with it. I like how the Scallop Trim Corner Punch sets of the saying. This one was super simple...one stamp, two punches and wala....

Flowered Kindness
Ok, so they say inspiration can come from anywhere and so this was from I shirt my sister was wearing in church. It was so neat, it was actually a black shirt with flowers + leaves with all these colors....I know it's hard to see, but I did use 2 of the 3 different greens that was in the shirt. When I saw it I knew right away I would use the triple flower punch!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Build a Bear Birthday...
Sad to say that these stamps are retiring this year! They made such good kid cards that could go from super simple to WOW! Like the card I made with the girl bear to do a Wizard of Oz card. These cards are great to just leave black and white to let the child receiving do their own coloring....

2 For You's...
Made #2 of the For You card for Therapy Card Nite and afterwards decided to "step it up" a bit as shown in #1. Really liked this paper from our Occasional Mini catalog along with the Apothecary set and dies!!! Makes for quick cute cards. The colors really make it feel springy too!!!
This card I step up with the green scalloped border along the edges along with the jewels along the bottom.

Simple Happy Easter...
Love quick and simple cards like these. Had quite a few to make up at the last minute since Easter snuck up on me.... Liked the simplicity of this layout so I grabbed a few supplies from SAB and our mini catalog and whipped out a few of these. Was so happy to get these all made and sent out that I forgot to sign one of them....atleast they knew it was from me....LOL

Alright, really need to make it clear that I am really enjoying Frenchies blog! Grant it, I do closely CASE alot of her stuff, but can ya blame a girl!!! I really appreciate those who love to share their ideas and how to's. So, Frenchie, if you happen to look to see what I CASE, thank you!!!

Late Valentine Posts
Just found this picture that I forgot to put up here! These are the cards I made for my co-workers in my office. They were a big hit too! (Other than those who could not figure out how to get to the candy...lol) As you see, I did one full of a trail mix...that was for my zumba instructor. She loved it!!! I really need to use these containers a little more often! :)

High School Brands
Really trying to stay up with my sons scrapbook since he is a junior this year! Hard to believe how fast his high school years have gone by. Over this course of his high school journey I have collected a few of the tags from his clothes to do a scrapbook with. How many of you remember this brands you wore during high school; or remember what brands were popular? Remember Guess, Levi's, ect... Well, here it is with a little room to add a few more if I need to. I did pull out an old SU Simply Scrappin' Kit to put this together along with some old alphabet stamps. (Ones I am sad to have gone). Hope this inspires you to save some tags and make one for the one you love!

Initial Calendar w/ matching card
Here is a peek at what I sent my secret sister for the month of January. I decorated a pocket calendar with some of our Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper, that I just LOVE!!! Her name is Jennifer, so I set her initial on the cover too. Thought this turned out so cute that I made a matching card for her too! I do have to say, that I really liked this Designer Paper in our SAB. Oh, did I say that already...just want to make sure you knew that!!! ;)

Happy Birthday Apothocary style...
I am so loving the new mini catalog!!! It's been a long time since I've really love a mini catalog like I do this one. This set is the apothocary set along with the dies that cut many sizes. Oh and don't forget the pleated satin ribbon or the DSP!!! This card came out quite pretty and I sure hope my grandma loves it! Yep, it's that time of year again...time for another visit to Florida to spend some time with my Grandma....

Baby Booties....
Was so sorry to see this punch and set go especially after finding out how to make these super cute booties. Although I did use this after it was "gone" I had to show this cute WOW effect to my girls at Therapy Card Nite that went with my theme "Love New Snow". This will be a set that will stay in my collection for a very long time.

Owl (heart) you...
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
I have been seeing these colored owl's all around Kohl's lately, especially with the Valentine stuff. So I decided to make a card inspired by what I saw and here is what I came up with. I am really liking the Red Shimmer Paper and what about that Smooch Spray...got to love it!!!

Love You ~ conversation hearts
Love the little treat cups that we carry...they come in hearts and circles. I really enjoy using them during Valentine's...filling them up with all different kinds of things. On this card we used some conversation hearts (which I love to eat as I fill the cups...) I topped it off with a rhinestone brad just to give it a bit of bling!!!

Floating Snowflake (CASE)
Ok...I gotta confess I am so very inspired by Frenchie's posts that I have CASED another card from her that is similar to the last card posted. This is using a floating technique that is really pretty cool. You punch a hole and use fishing string or dental floss (as I did) to make your accent "float".

Snowflakes of Joy....
This is another card that I "CASE'd" from Frenchie (such an inspiration for me)! This was such a fun card to make using our snowflake embossing folder and our ornaments set and punch. Really enjoyed sponging the snowflakes to make them pop!!! Oh, and don't forget the final little touch of the jingle bell on the ornament!!! This card just screams SNOW!!!! I love the snow. I love how when it firsts snows everything looks so clean and white and sparklie!!! Do not worry for those who do not share my enthusiasm, only a couple of months left....

HO HO HO...
Couldn't let this pass me by! This just screams Christmas...Found this in one of my magazines, but this was a decorated sack. I just turned it into a card and the girls loved this super simple easy to make card!!! No stamping necessary, except for the inside saying.......who could pass this up, really!

O Christmas Tree.....
Now that the Christmas season is over and the tree has been taken down and the house put back in order, I am finally getting around to posting my Christmas cards from this past year. I am really liking the pennants punch and stamp set. Also like making the 3-d cards like this one....yes, that is our past DSP, but I am still trying to use up all my past DSP to justify buying new...lol

Christmas Stockings....CASE
This past November I came across Frenchie's blog and she has been very inspirational to me. This is one of the cards of hers that I "CASE'd" from her for Therapy Card Nite. It was a big hit, not only with the girls, but with me also! I loved it!!! I am sorry to see that this set and punch will not be carried over, but will most definatly be keeping these in my own private stash and will bring them out from time to time.

Happy New Year 2012!!!
Happy New Year!!! 2011 was a good year filled with lots of surprises and great times. I got to surpise my grandma for her birthday, received a promotion at work and got to take a wonderful vacation to Florida with my family!!! I look forward to the new year with great excitement and anticipation. I hope you have taken the time to reflect on the past year, good, bad, or a little inbetween, and look forward to what the new year will hold for you.
In celebration of the new year, I put my creative mind to use and came up with this New Year's card. I know it uses expired items, but when an idea pops in my mind I just got to make it regardless of what is current or expired.
