OVERLOAD UPLOAD!!!

Just to let you girls know I have been busy making cards and such. Just haven't had alot of time to get them all downloaded and uploaded for you to see. So here is a major upload of cards I've done over the past few weeks. Hope you enjoy them!

This one I did for Card Nite this week. They got to choose between Bashful Blue and Pretty in Pink for the scalloped edges. Although it is hard to see, I embossed the Barely Banana card stock with a paisley embossing folder using the Big Shot. Everyone loved trying it out.

This one I did while I was watching my nephews while my sister went to Vegas for vacation. I challenged myself to use limited supplies. So this is done with one stamp set, one punch, and cardstock only. I really like how it turned out.

These are the Easter cards that I did for Card Night last month, but these cards went to my co-workers at the theater. They really enjoy getting them. Most say so any way.

This is the card I made for my sisters anniversary. I used the brayered sky technique for the sunset and then stamped and cut out the couple and layered it over the sky. For the sun I used the fulll circle from the "Smile" stamp set. Anyone remember or have that one still? And I covered it while I brayered over it. I also used a dimensional to have the couple stand out a bit.
So see girls, I have been busy. I will try to post my things a little more often. Well, off to see what you've created!!!

Mother's Day Stamp Camp

Finally, after looking for the right pails for a few months, I got my next Stamp Camp sample project finished! Yes, this is right from the Spring Summer Catalog on page 11. I thought it was so cute and just knew that I wanted to do this. If not for a Stamp Camp then atleast for myself it's just too cute! But this would make a great project for a Mother's Day gift! I will be making a few more for the Mother's in my life, as this one is mine. (smile) For the flowers I used my Big Shot so this project will be using quite a few Stampin' Up! items! In fact, during the Stamp Camp I will demonstrate using the Crop-a-dial around the top of the pail to run the ribbon through as a different look. If you're interested in this Stamp Camp and want more information just e-mail or call.

Bleached Flowers

Here is the card I entered for the Stampin' Success Bleach Contest for March. They didn't call so I guess I didn't win. (maybe next time) I had alot of fun playing with the bleaching technique. Took me a few tries to get this look. I really like all the shadowing that came out in this one. If you haven't tried this technique you should.

So, after a few attempts at making the box I finally got it right. (Lauren shows how to make the sock cupcake on her blog) So here is the finished project. Ugh!!!

I've tried 4 times now to upload my latest project on here and the picture is all messed up. So I will try again later today. I was blog surfing and came across Lauren Meader and saw this cute little box with a cupcake in it. I thought, I could do that! So after spending half a day playing around trying to get the box right, I finally got it! Yeah!!! Then I get a phone call from the school telling me that Quintin's tooth is really hurting and we should call the dentist (Wednesday). Mind you, we just had our check ups 2 days prior (Monday). He woke up in the night saying that his tooth hurt and I just thought, well you just had a check up maybe they aggrivated that tooth or gum area. Called the dentist and it ended up being a tooth that had a filling 3 years ago that NOW needed a root canal! So I rush him up to Iowa City to be fitted in the emergency list. Figured we'd have this done in a day, but no! He had a bad infection so they only did a partial and we would need to go back and have it finished the day after Easter. Well, yesterday I get a call from the school again because it is still hurting BAD. Call the dentist to let him know and he wants us to come back up to Iowa City (mind you it is 1 1/2 hour drive) so he can see if he needs to drain it some more. Which he did. Poor Quintin, he's been in pain all week with this tooth. The dentist said it will probably hurt for a few more days as this infection goes away. So I've been gone the last 2 days with my cupcake in a box just sitting here waiting!

So check back later and hopefully it will post the "whole" picture so you can all see it!
